We check the licence
A clinic licence is checked against the Department of Health Service Support register of licensed private clinics, and the responsible doctor's licence with the Medical Council of Thailand, when the publisher runs a register check or the provider submits licence evidence. "Verified" means the register entry and the licence information match the clinic's name and address; "Not yet verified" includes every provider whose licence has not been checked yet.

We gather public ratings
Google, Tripadvisor and Fresha ratings and review counts are recorded with the date they were observed. We write no reviews of our own: what reviewers say is summarised by AI from the reviews we read, labelled "Synthesis by AI" and attributed to its platform; any direct quote is reproduced verbatim.

We publish the information
Each profile shows the licence source, the score calculation and the date of the last check. Providers can submit corrections and information at any time; licences are re-checked every quarter.

We want residents and visitors in Phuket to have clear information on which medical providers are trustworthy and safe.
In Thailand, medical and clinical services are regulated: a private clinic needs a licence to operate, a licensed doctor responsible for running it and approval for its advertising, and must meet the standards of the Sanatorium Act. A licence is not a guarantee that a clinic is safe or provides high-quality care, which is why the Trust Score is calculated from patient reviews. At the same time, treatment from an unlicensed provider can be dangerous, and patients should have access to that information. Phuket has a growing number of aesthetic, longevity and IV providers. Thailand publishes a register of licensed private clinics, but checking a provider means searching government registers one clinic and one doctor at a time. Phuket Clinic Guide is an independent directory: it does not take bookings, sells no placement, and lists every provider under the same rules.
How we score
Phuket Clinic Guide's Trust Score is a weighted average of a provider's Google (50%), Tripadvisor (25%) and Fresha (25%) ratings, each blended with a prior of 4.5 weighted as 25 reviews, so the adjustment shrinks as reviews grow. A missing platform counts as 4.0, so a provider listed only on Google cannot score above 4.50. A possibly unlicensed provider has 2.00 deducted. Licensed providers are always listed first.
